How we set up a sensory bin at home
- One shallow tub or deep tray, set on an old towel or a shower curtain so the clean-up is a shake and a fold.
- A filler (rice, pasta, water, ice, soil), two or three scooping tools, and a handful of small figures or treasures to find.
- Under three? Skip small dry fillers and use water, ice, or dough instead, and stay within arm's reach.
- Store dry fillers in a lidded box and they last us months of mornings.
