Your email address — only if you choose to sign up for the Weekly Fairy Secret. Nothing else is required: no name, no phone number, no address.

Basic, anonymous visit data — such as which pages are popular and whether the site loads quickly. This is never tied to you personally.

Your email is used for one thing: sending the little secret on Sunday mornings, plus a short welcome note when you first join. Occasionally it may include a few handpicked activity ideas from the blog.

We will never send unrelated advertising to your inbox.

Your email is never sold, rented, traded or handed to advertisers. It is shared only with the secure services that store the list and deliver the emails on our behalf, and they may not use it for anything else.

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also leave any time from the unsubscribe page.

You may also ask for your email to be permanently deleted from our records, and it will be removed.

The site uses the simple, essential cookies needed for pages to work properly and load quickly. There is no advertising tracking here, and nothing is used to build a profile of you.

We also use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages are read and how people find the blog. It places analytics cookies and collects anonymous information such as an approximate region, the pages visited and the type of device. Your name and email are never sent to it, and the data is used only to make the blog better.

You can opt out at any time with the Google Analytics opt out add on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The blog works perfectly well either way.

This site is written for parents, caregivers and educators. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

If anything here changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. Meaningful changes to how emails are used will be shared with subscribers first.
